Estate White Wines

Estate Chardonnay: unoaked style- light, fresh and crisp. Aged “sur lees” bringing creaminess. Will age nicely for 5 years. Flavors will soften and become more round and subtle.

Tasting Notes: pear, yellow apple, lemon, crisp minerality, citrus finish

Pairing: classics like roasted chicken, baked fish, seafood: crab cakes, oysters, stuffed clams, seafood pasta, chowder.

Estate Pinot Gris: made in the aromatic french style, with 12 hours skin contact which gives a light rosy or coppery hue.

Tasting Notes: peach, apricot, citrus, spice with a touch of sweetness

Pairing: seafood- salmon, pork stir fry, grilled chicken, sweetness goes well with spicy food- thai, indian etc/ it is a great vegetarian wine

Trumpour’s Mill (Dry) Riesling 2008: because this is a dry style riesling it has become more dynamic and complex with age. It is now drinking at its best.

Tastings Notes: citrus- lemon/lime, green apple, crisp minerality, touch of sweetness

Pairing: great with salty or creamy foods- especially cheese, veggie dishes- stands up to garlic, nice with lighter poultry dishes and can stand up to salads with sour dressings
